Lenna announced at VNCity why she’s going to China for a while, Lenna is going to perform with her band at the world exhibition EXPO 2010 in Shanghai (China).

Lenna will be in China for at least 8 days. From May 22nd till May 30th 2010.

The world exhibition EXPO 2010′s motto is “Better City, Better Life” and it’ll take place in Shanghai (China). The organizers expect the largest crowds of visitors. They said at least 70 million people will visit.

Lenna Kuurmaa was at todays Laulud Tähtedega TV show. Along film producer Artur Talvik she performed James Brown’s song – I Feel Good! I’ve added a few pictures to the gallery and attached a video! Enjoy!

Balbiino company with Vanilla Ninja girls have released a new taste of their ice cream. Previously, the only available ice cream was vanilla flavoured and now there is also a chocolate ice cream. A promotional video is available on this website with Katrin, Piret and Lenna presenting the ice cream. Also the lucky ones, who know the songs played during the short film, can participate in a contest to win a full box of Vanilla Ninja ice creams! Of course this is only for people who live in Estonia (: Please let us know how good it is if anybody tasted!

Lenna Kuurmaa appeared in today’s episode of Laulu Tähtedega. Lenna was paired with actor Artur Talvik.
Mihkel Raud was celebrating the premiere of his novel “On SININE sinu Taevas” – As most of you know, Mihkel and Lenna both recorded the song “Musta pori näkku”, one picture has been added to the gallery alongside the others. I’d like to thank Ninjadiary for the news!

elu24.ee posted a new article of Lenna talking about the Eesti Laul results. I’ve translated it for you guys.

“Well, it kind of is a good thing that we did not win,” Lenna said. “I was just planning to travel to China and representing Estonia at the same time would be too much. A long time ago I’ve got to know the Indian singer-trip, where the amount of “spiritual power and positive emotions” is huge. Just really inspiring.”

“The pressure is huge,” the tired and exhausted singer said after Estonia becomes aware of the voting results. We have a plan for a secret aftershow party only a few selected guests will attend”, says the singer with a mysterious smile.

Unfortunately, Lenna’s not going to Oslo this year to represent Estonia at this years Eurovision Song Contest. Lenna didn’t win but she’s SECOND! I think that’s great. Although she didn’t I still think it was a wonderful performance. But oh well, everything happens for a reason right? I am really proud of Lenna. And so should you!

I’ve noticed that the song “Crashing through the doors” and “Club Kung Fu” is sang by Lenna only. Why does Lenna sing almost everything? I love your voice!
Piret: First of all, thank you for the compliment. I do sing a few parts in Club Kung Fu. I’m kind of a background singer. Oh and by the way, I have my own verse in Crashing through the doors! (:
