Piret recently did an online interview with Kroonika.ee. I just read it and saw that one fan mentions Lenna in one question. And you know what? Piret answered both of MY question. I’ll post them! I’m just so excited, HA! Anyways, here you go!

I’ve noticed that the song “Crashing through the doors” and “Club Kung Fu” is sang by Lenna only. Why does Lenna sing almost everything? I love your voice!
Piret: First of all, thank you for the compliment. I do sing a few parts in Club Kung Fu. I’m kind of a background singer. Oh and by the way, I have my own verse in Crashing through the doors! (:

Piret: Hey! I am honored to hear that I have managed to inspire you. The trick really is just to trust the voice of your heart in whatever you do. The right answers to all of your questions lie within yourself. And never be afraid to catch your dreams because all dreams CAN come true – just do what you feel you´ve got to do.

Do you have a twitter/facebook/myspace account? And does Lenna have one of them?
Piret: I don´t have Twitter but I do have a personal Facebook account, and Disko4000 has both – the Facebook and the Myspace (myspace.com/disko4000) account.

EscDaily had the oportunity to speak with Estonian Singer and Eurovision star Lenna Kuurmaa. In 2005 she already took part in the Eurovision Song Contest together with her band Vanilla Ninja for Switzerland. This year Lenna is again entering the Estonian preselection for a ticket to Oslo.

EscDaily: Hello Lenna, thank you for answering our questions today, I hope you are doing fine! First of all, why did you decide to take part once again in the Estonian national final?
Lenna: Well..I am doing my first solo album at the moment, I am very excited about it (: . It will be released in spring 2010. So I thought it is good promotion for a song if you get to the national final. And i have never had anything against representing my country, if I know I have a good song and I can give my all with it. I love the song, that is the reason why we decided to send it to the competition.
EscDaily: What is your song about? What can we expect?
Lenna: It is about how thing happen in real life as they do in fairytales. Maybe life is a fairytale? You know the story about Rapunzel? (:
EscDaily: You already took part in the Eurovision Song Contest with your band “Vanilla Ninja”. How was it for you to perform in such a big event?
Lenna: It was a great feeling.
EscDaily: This year you are trying to make it solo to Oslo. Is it for you now a little bit unusual to perform without your band?
Lenna: I have been performing without the band (my girls) many times, actually very many times. So I think it will not be unusual, but it is different.
EscDaily: What would it mean for you to perform on Eurovision stage once again?
Lenna: I think it would be a different feeling to do it for my country.
EscDaily: Are you an Eurovision fan?
Lenna: I have always watched it, some years I have been more into it then others, depending how good the songs are and the performances.
EscDaily: What do you think about the fact that this year there will be 50% jury and 50% public voting in the semifinals and in the final?
Lenna: I think it is fair.
EscDaily: Are you working on any new projects? Will we hear something new from “Vanilla Ninja” soon?
Lenna: like I said, I am doing my solo album at the moment, should be ready soon. Can’t wait (:

I know this is a little bit old but a few weeks ago, fans had the chance to ask Lenna a few question over at www.kroonikaa.ee. Here’s a little review of the questions she answered. I’ve only picked the english ones because I don’t understand the estionian questions lol. Random note: Lenna answered MY question! (: Awesome, isn’t it?

Your plans with Vanilla Ninja for 2010? Any concerts? I have not seen your live since 5 years. Your Fan from Germany.
We don’t have big plans for vanilla ninja this year.We do have some surprises. But it’s a calm period.

Hei Lenna, do you see a future for Vanilla Ninja? How does it feel to be a concurrent of Piret on Eesti Laul?
Vanilla ninja is going through a calm period at the moment.I have not really thought about it who and what I am compeating against, I am not in Estonia et the moment.Have not heard any songs from Eesti Laul so I don’t know what to think yet.

Hey Lenna, been a fan of yours since the start. I’m from Germany.. so my question is.. will you ever come back to Germany to do a signing or tour?
I don’t know. Hard to say.

Do you think,you will come to Germany anytime again? Or maybe also with Ninjas? (Armastan sind, tervitused Saksamaalt)
I don’t know. I hope we will come one day again.

As you can see, most people would like to see Lenna or Vanilla Ninja back in Germany. Since I’m from Germany I support it! I’d love to see the girls back in Germany.
